Armed man, man wearing Halloween mask rob Upstate gas station, deputies say

Marathon armed robbery GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. — Two men, one armed and one wearing a Halloween mask, robbed an Upstate gas station, according to Greenville County deputies. Deputies said the robbery happened just before 10 p.m. Friday at the Marathon gas station on White Horse Road. Deputies said the two men walked into the store and demanded money from the drawer. They left with cash, deputies said. Deputies, assisted by a K-9, tried to track the suspects on foot, but were unsuccessful. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME. Source Article

Previous reporting by the Dallas Business Journal was confirmed Monday with news that EdgeCore Internet Real Estate plans to build a $1 billion data center in Richardson. According to the Dallas Morning News, EdgeCore wants to build a roughly 900,000-square-foot facility on 33 acres at Shiloh Road and the President George W. Bush Turnpike. Plans filed with the city of Richardson call for two office and data center buildings, each spanning 358,000 square feet. An electric substation will also be build on the site, the DMN added.
